Grant P. Bloomdahl, Esq.

Attorney at Law and Member of the Pennsylvania Bar

Grant is a fearless trial lawyer who enjoys fighting and advocating for his clients in court.

Grant is a criminal defense and civil litigator based in West Chester, Pennsylvania. A public defender for over four (4) years, he spent countless hours defending indigent clients against government abuse and upholding the Constitutional Rights we all enjoy. He also has extensive civil experience handling claims regarding personal injury (car crashes, premises liability, and dram shop), civil rights, First Amendment claims, and business litigation. He is not afraid to take on even the most difficult of cases and always seeks the best possible result for his clients.

He has litigated thousands of civil and criminal cases. His work at the Public Defender’s office taught him the value of bringing a case to court, in front of both judge and jury. Prior to working at the Chester County Public Defender’s Office, he worked at two prestigious center city Philadelphia law firms where he fought for personal injury clients and defendants facing serious criminal charges. His skills at criminal defense translate well to civil practice because he is always ready and willing to fight for the underdog.

In law school, he interned for President Judge Gantman in the Superior Court of Pennsylvania, the Defender’s Association of Philadelphia, the Federal Defenders for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania, and the Foundation for Individual Rights in Education (FIRE). In 2018, he served as a Board Observer for the Philadelphia Bar Association. In 2022, he was selected to serve as the Pennsylvania Bar Association Young Lawyer’s co-chair for Zone 1 (Philadelphia). In 2024, he was selected to serve as a co-chair for the Criminal Justice Section of the Chester County Bar Association.

In his spare time, he teaches Continuing Legal Experiences (CLEs) for other lawyers and is actively involved with the Chester County Bar Association, Pennsylvania Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, and National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers. He enjoys mentoring new lawyers and helping them learn the various aspects of the legal world. He loves cars, motorcycles, computers, exercising, and reading history.

He graduated from Temple University School of Law in 2018 and from Ursinus College in 2013, where he earned a degree in History and played club rugby.
